Current accredited courses

ACORN offers the opportunity for organisations that provide programs relating to education and training for perioperative personnel to seek accreditation of their programs from the College. Courses are assessed by the Hospital and University Collaboration and Accreditation Committee (HUCA).

By accrediting an educational program, ACORN provides formal recognition of the quality of the program, demonstrating that the requirements developed by the College have been met.

ACORN has transitioned to a quarterly, online application process and finalised criteria for accredited courses to retain their accreditation. The primary contact for  ACORN's previously accredited courses should expect to receive an email  before 1st November 2019 advising of the changes, their impact on courses currently registered with ACORN and options available.

The next round calling for applications will:

  • Open on the 1st and close on the 30th November 2019
  • Open on the 1st and close on the 15th February 2020
  • Open on the 1st and close on the 15th May 2020
  • Open on the 1st and close on the 15th August 2020

The online application process can be accessed here.
