G.L.U.E. Awards

The ACORN G.L.U.E. Awards acknowledge special nurses who keep the team together ‘like glue’. Colleagues who are genuine, make you laugh, are unique, and above all, show empathy.

 

These awards began in Perioperative Nurses Week of 2021 and have consistently received overwhelming numbers of nominations in subsequent years. We are thankful to our long-standing sponsor, Multigate, who have supported these awards annually since their inception.

 

Nominations are now closed and will open for preoperative nurses week 2026.

Terms of nomination:

• The nominated person must be an ACORN member for the nomination to progress to shortlisting.
• The nominated person must confirm, provide and consent to their nomination, details and image being used in marketing and promotion of Perioperative Nurses Week 2025 and G.L.U.E. Awards by both ACORN and Multigate Medical Products Pty Ltd, on their respective websites and other digital media, in order to be shortlisted.
• The G.L.U.E. award winner is selected based on the nomination criteria as provided by the nominating person(s).
