The role

Options exist for you to work full time, part time or casual employment (let us know in the application process) with Epworth Freemasons in East Melbourne. Working in a VMO model across 12 theatres and supported by a 24-hour ICU, you will work across differing surgical procedures including adults; paediatrics; general surgical; gynaecology; urology; ENT; maxillofacial; orthopaedics; endoscopy; plastics and maternity services.

You will make an impact by:

  • Planning, reviewing and implementing patient anaesthetics and recovery care
  • Recognising and responding to changing needs of the patient
  • Applying a safety-first mindset that sees a positive patient experience outcome

For you to be successful in this role…

You may be an EEN or RN and are looking to work in a close-knit experienced perioperative environment that is supported by a strong and committed leadership team.  You will be a good communicator, self-motivated and have natural ability to show compassion and empathy to patients.

You will have:

  • Anaesthetics or PACU experience
  • Current unrestricted AHPRA Nursing registration
  • Ability to work across a rotating roster of AM, PM and twilight shifts
  • Broad experience gained across a variety of surgical specialties
