Patient optimisation in the era of COVID-19 is defining the current surgical landscape. The effectiveness of the patient’s surgical care pathway is determined by reducing the incidence of complications resulting in return to OR and protracted length of stay and readmission. Management of SSI’s is a multidisciplinary collaborative approach and Dr Loi will address best practices in navigating the peri-operative phases of the surgical care pathway.
