This webinar presentation will focus on the process of identifying the research idea/question/problem statement or hypothesis. The process of matching the research question to the methodology will be outlined, and considerations for critiquing a piece of research discussed.
About the presenter
Professor Brigid Gillespie is the conjoint Professor of Patient Safety in Nursing at the Gold Coast University Hospital and Griffith School of Nursing and Midwifery, Gold Coast campus. Brigid’s research focusses on two important areas of patient safety; compromised skin integrity, and teamwork and communication in surgery. Brigid has authored over 175 peer-reviewed publications, one edited book and 7 book chapters. She has won $10.4 million dollars in competitive research grants, including 5 NHMRC grants.
