ACORN Education Manager

ACORN is seeking applications from registered nurses with a relevant master’s degree to lead ACORN's education program.
Working with a supportive and committed Board of Directors, Chief Executive Officer and staff, ACORN's Education Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong and effective relationships with members and when directed, key stakeholders including commercial partners. The Education Manager will lead the operational activities within this portfolio including development, delivery and promotion of a suite of ACORN Education programs and events.
The Education Manager will ensure all ACORN Education content is consistent with all related national public policy, legislative mandates and national standards including the relevant Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (ACSQHC) National Standards, Standards Australia and any additional standards that apply to perioperative practice. The Education Manager ensures that each ACORN Education program is accurate, based on current evidence and best practice including new and existing technologies, contemporary, relevant, translatable to care and useful.
