You will need to log-in to view the ACORN Members' Only section on this website. Due to a technical glitch there are no recordings for the Antimicrobial Stewardship, Budgeting or Chlorhexidine Sensitivity webinars. ACORN thanks the > 1,000 attendees at these webinars held between late May to mid July.

Elective surgery restrictions eased - 22nd April 2020
ACORN was one of several member-based colleges invited by the Australian Government to provide advice regarding the reintroduction of elective surgery across Australia. Staged reintroduction of elective surgery will commence on 27 April 2020.

ACORN COVID-19 Update - 27th March 2020
The Board and staff of ACORN are grateful for the understanding of members as we, the perioperative nursing workforce and fellow Australians, all face the immediate and ongoing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
ACORN is advising members that the Australian Government Department of Health has updated advice for health workers regarding the COVID-19 outbreak.

•	Interim advice on hospital care of people with suspected or confirmed COVID-19

As Australia's peak body for perioperative nursing in Australia ACORN is pleased to today launch its new Standards Discussion Forum trial. Over the last few years requests for additional information and member dialogue regarding the ACORN Standards for Perioperative Nursing in Australia have increased. Standards-related posts on ACORN's social media platforms frequently generate almost 2000 individual engagement. ACORN launches its first discussion forum - 17th February 2020
