Standards for Organisations Licence

This licence is for organisations only. 

This licence is for single or multiple site organisations, day surgeries and libraries.

Please read this software licence agreement carefully before purchasing a subscription to The New ACORN Standards (the Standards) which consist of the Professional Practice Standards for Perioperative Nurses (PPSPN) and the Standards for Safe and Quality Care in the Perioperative Environment (SSQCPE).

The subscription to the Standards (Subscription) is provided pursuant to, and governed by, the terms of this agreement. By purchasing the Subscription, and accessing, the Standards, the organisation and its sites (the Organisation) are agreeing to be bound by the following terms of this agreement.

Multiple users – single site

• Upon purchasing the Subscription, the Organisation is granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferrable licence for an initial period of 12 months commencing from the date on which the Subscription is purchased (the Term) to access the Standards for commercial educational use in 1–4, 5–9, 10–14, 15–19 or 20+ theatres or procedure rooms (as purchased) at the one site.
• The Subscription will expire at the end of the Term, unless terminated earlier by the parties in accordance with this agreement.
• ACORN will provide the Organisation with written notice prior to the expiry of the Term with details on the option to renew the Subscription for an additional 12 month term.
• If the Organisation wishes to renew the Subscription for an additional 12 month term, it must agree to the terms of this agreement (which may be subject to change from time to time and advised by ACORN at the time of renewal) and must make payment for the Subscription prior to the commencement of the renewal period.
• The Organisation agrees that the Subscription will only be used in 1–4, 5–9, 10–14, 15–19 or 20+ theatres or procedure rooms (as purchased) at the one site.
• The Organisation must not, and must ensure its users do not, copy, reproduce or infringe the copyright of the Standards or assist or enable any other person to directly or indirectly do such acts.
• The Organisation agrees that it will not directly or indirectly assist, allow, enable or facilitate any unauthorised access of the Standards by any third parties.
• The Organisation must, and must ensure that its users, comply with all applicable Australian and/or New Zealand laws, regulations, codes and standards when accessing the Standards.
• The Organisation agrees that the Subscription will not be assigned to any third party.
• ACORN may terminate the Subscription on 14 days’ prior written notice to the Organisation if the Organisation or its users fail to comply with the terms of this agreement.
• When a Subscription is purchased, ACORN will provide access to the Standards in their current form as at the date of purchase in accordance with this agreement. ACORN will make reasonable endeavours to ensure that any updates to the Standards are reflected in the version of the Standards which are accessible via the Subscription as soon as is practicable.
• The Organisation indemnifies ACORN against all liability, loss and/or damage arising from or in connection with the Organisation’s or its users’ failure to comply with the terms of this agreement, except to the extent that ACORN caused or contributed to the failure.

Multiple users, single site licence prices

1–4 theatres or procedure rooms - $420 incl. GST

5–9 theatres or procedure rooms - $945 incl. GST

10–14 theatres or procedure rooms - $1,470 incl. GST

15–19 theatres or procedure rooms - $1,995 incl. GST

20+ theatres or procedure rooms - $2,520 incl. GST

 

 

Multiple users – multiple sites
