Standards Review Project

Welcome to the Standards Review Project site

The ACORN Standards constitute the specialty knowledge of the perioperative nursing community in Australia and represents the accepted standard of professional practice. ACORN has developed and refined the Standards over many years to produce a document that is held in high esteem by government, industry and the general public.

The Review Project site has been created to keep members informed about our progress in revising and updating current standards, developing new standards, and archiving standards that are no longer relevant or contemporary. We will be evaluating this site for continued development and refinement so we would like to hear from you. Your comments and feedback will help us to streamline and strengthen the ongoing process of reviewing ACORN Standards. Please spend a little time navigating your way around the site. Let me know what you think and/or if you are having any troubles navigating around the site notify me at di.hutt@acorn.org.au.
